Press Releases Leukaemia Research Autumn Branch Newsletter 2007: "DENBIGHSHIRE & DISTRICT BRANCH - OUT OF THIS WORLD FUNDRAISING! The brand new Denbighshire & District Branch have organised a series of exciting events over their first year. Set up by Treasurer Terry Hickmott (who has chronic myeloid leukaemia) and his family, the branch has worked hard to generate some truly original and entertaining fundraising ideas. These have included a series of 'Overnight Paranormal Investigations' in North Wales and Chester, which were both terrifying and enjoyable. On top of this, the Branch held a Health & Beauty Evening in September, which included acupuncture, Indian head massage and even a sponsored chest waxing! With ten brave souls preparing to do sponsored parachute jumps in the near future and more paranormal events being booked around the country, it's clear that next year will be as exciting as the first. Debbie Hickmott said: "For our first year it's been great. We hope the Branch goes from strength to strength and we gain the local community's support for a long time to come"
